Carol McPherson

Carol Ann McPherson Of Huntington, WV, passed away on October 16, 2025 at the age of Seventy Two years, Three months and Four days. She was the daughter of the late Eileen and Delbert Clark and is also preceded in death by her husband, Tomm Lee McPherson and one great-grandson, Malikah A’Mod McPherson. Carol was raised in Chesapeake, OH. Her life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren. She often looked forward to cooking for the family gatherings so that she could have all her family together in one place to visit and spend quality time. Some of the things Carol enjoyed most were having kitchen table talks with her daughter Amanda. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida to see her grandkids. Not only did she look forward to her Florida trips to see her grandchildren, but also seeing the beach which she enjoyed very much, and to have some of her most favorite candy, salt water taffy. Carol was known for her weekend sleepovers with all the grandkids and grand nieces and nephews with slumber parties because it gave her warmth to her heart. Not only was Carol eager to talk with her loved ones, she enjoyed creating friendships with folks throughout all walks of life. She truly never met a stranger and would enjoy meeting all types of people. The majority of her work life revolved around being a health care provider and taking care of people in their homes and professional hospital settings. Those left to cherish Carol’s memory include her three children, Bryan McPherson, Amanda Bryant, and Adam McPherson; her sister and brother (Best Friends, advocates, and protectors) John and Colleen Cooper; sister Ellen Virgillo; seven grandchildren, Marlea McPherson, Taryn Pedro, Khalil Cooper, Cole McPherson, Teara McPherson, Myra McPherson and Kira McPherson; two special nephews, Eric Cooper, Alex Cooper; and a host of great-grandchildren, great nieces, great nephews, family and friends.
