Dusten Allen Bills

Dusten Allen Bills, age 43, of Huntington, West Virginia, was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a life that will not be forgotten. Dusten was born on May 25, 1982, and was a lifelong resident of Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Lynn Corbett; his father, Timothy Allen Bills; his grandparents, Zach and Roberta Bills and Robert Kelly. He is survived by his devoted partner and soulmate of 14 years, Daniel Bias; his sisters, Carrie Hardiman (Curtis); Tabytha Plymale (James); and Amanda Bills; his grandma who helped raise him, Anna Kelly. He is also survived by his cherished nieces and nephews, Elijah "Ray", Meleigha, Kaia Allyn, Quinn, Harper, Declan, and Kallie Jo. Dusten is further survived by a very special woman who he considered a second mother, Judy Roberts, and his beloved friend, Stephanie Roberts, who held a meaningful place in his life, and a host of aunts, uncles, family & friends who loved him very much. Dusten was a graduate of Cabell Midland High School and had a deep love for music. He was especially gifted at playing the piano, using music as a way to worship, to cope, and to communicate what was in his heart. His talent was a blessing to all who had the privilege of hearing him play. He was a proud member of Christian Fellowship Church where he attended regularly until his health would not allow it. Like all of us, Dusten experienced ups and downs in life. Through every season, his journey was known by God, regardless of those who chose to judge and seclude him. Those closest to him knew that beneath it all was a man who loved fiercely and deeply. His heart, though imperfect, was capable of great love, and that love will be remembered. We take comfort in knowing that Dusten is now at peace, fully healed, and resting in the presence of his Savior. His life mattered, his story matters, and his memory will live on through the music he loved and the family who will forever carry him in their hearts. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 03, 2026 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV with Minister Jason Cook officiating.
